The brand was founded when our executive team saw a growing demand for total home care services, after successfully launching and growing national brands in both the senior home health care industry, as well as the home services and handyman industry. Gary Green and Dan Murphy, Co-Founders of TruBlue, recognized that millions of seniors desire to age in place, and that the biggest obstacle to aging in place is the physically-demanding and never-ending maintenance and upkeep of a home, both inside and out.

“I owned a senior home healthcare franchise and discovered that the true problem seniors face if they want to age in place is taking care of the home,” Gary says. “What the market needed was one company that could take over all aspects of home care and to be able to provide the level of trust that comes with taking care of home services for seniors. As a franchisor, we had the capacity to develop a strong model that could deliver to our franchisees multiple revenue streams that would also provide the convenience factor today’s consumers want and need. What our franchisees have discovered is that our services are equally needed for busy families who do not have time to devote to maintaining a home, and millennials who have never learned how to take care of their homes. The demand for our services extends to millions of people, who will need us over the long-term. As a franchisor, TruBlue is tremendously exciting because we have defined and created a new service category where we are the only national player and have tremendous room to grow rapidly to several hundred locations nationwide between 2020-2025.”
