Albert Spell Brings TruBlue to Cherokee County

Local business leader Albert Spell is pleased to announce the launch of his whole-home care business, TruBlue Total House Care of Cherokee County.

Spell grew up on a 160-year-old farm that’s still in operation today and has spent the last 25 years leading customer-facing teams focused on serving global enterprises. His most recent role was as the Executive Vice President of Service Delivery for Calero Software in Atlanta. He also owned his own company, T3 Technical Services, where he provided small to medium businesses with sales and operational consulting services, training, engineering, program management, project management, process improvement and field operations. Although he was successful in the corporate world, Spell was looking for a change.

“When you work with TruBlue, you have one company you can contact for all your house maintenance needs, whether you need someone to help with maid services, landscaping, handyman repairs or emergency repairs. You don’t have to coordinate with multiple companies or juggle trying to find multiple contractors you can trust. TruBlue is here to help,” Spell said.

“I was ready to work for myself and to leave corporate America. I was traveling too much – it was more surprising to my 11-year-old son and a 14-year-old daughter when I was home than I was traveling. I also found that while I was helping companies grow and make more money, that wasn’t making a difference for me, my team or my community. I decided, if I was going to work that hard, I should work for myself and have a business that could make a difference for people in this community,” Spell said.

Spell’s journey to TruBlue started one day while he was working from home. He had always been interested in working in real estate in some way and, while Spell sat in his office that day, he noticed his neighbor had three different contractors come to the house.

“I thought ‘Wow, he had to coordinate with three companies to get this work done. Wouldn’t it be nice if he could have just called one company?’ I realized that might be a business opportunity, which is eventually what led to TruBlue,” Spell said. “TruBlue is here to help busy families and seniors keep up on the maintenance on their homes so they can spend less time on to-do lists while still protecting what is likely their largest investment.”
